Philadelphia. From the Freeman's Journal. On Tuesday
evening, the 11th of December, his Excellency the Minister
of France, who embraces every opportunity to manifest his
respect to the worthies of America, and politeness to its
inhabitants, entertained his Excellency General Washington
and his lady, the lady of Gen. Greene, and a very polite
circle of gentlemen and ladies, with an elegant concert, in
which the following Oratorio, composed and set to musick by
a gentleman whose taste in the polite arts is well known,
was introduced, and afforded the most sensible pleasure.
